“[Tango] Orchestras acted as a crucible where the ideas of their members and / or other musicians – some of them true creators – were shared, transformed, and enriched to create styles of performance, rhythmic forms, etc. These contributions were those which, little by little, took Tango to the highest musical level to which it has arrived. Currently, it is not easy to belong to an orchestra, as only a small number persist. This makes it difficult for those who want to learn Tango to access the extensive knowledge necessary for the performance and interpretation of the genre. …Keep in mind that orchestras have always been the best spaces for learning.”
